Soul Alchemy: A Vision of Love

I have a vision—one I want to live, breathe, and embody.

No, not a vision born of ayahuasca or psilocybin (though they can certainly reveal powerful insights in the right setting). And not one delivered in some peak mystical moment. This vision arrived through something perhaps more surprising: a leadership workshop that cracked something open in me and shifted how I see life.

It brought me back to why I do the work I do.

Love.

At the heart of my work—whether in embodiment coaching, psychedelic-assisted journeys, or community ritual—is a longing to help people access the deeper currents of love that live within them. I want to cultivate spaces animated by love. I want to ignite the spark of love in each person, so that together we can build a world rooted in it.

When I say “vision,” I mean the inner atmosphere I want to create and live from—the values that form the context for my life and my work.

So what is this vision of love?

It came to me in a single torrential wave of writing, just after one full day of the workshop. Here is what emerged:

Wisdom: Love knows it’s the wisest choice because it’s the one that brings maximal benefit to all. Love stands for the win-win; love knows that this is the only true winning.
Grace: Love gives grace—it allows leeway, it is gracious in receiving, it is gracious in giving.
Generosity: Love is a generous force because it knows it has enough and there is enough—there’s actually abundance. It gives freely, without expectation of return, without keeping score. It is not worried about lack or recompense.
Kindness: Love acts in the kindest possible manner for any given situation. If something must be said which is difficult to hear, it delivers it with care and in service of that person’s highest good, while also being marked by…
Honesty: Truth-telling that reveals one’s values, owning and reflecting one’s intimate experience. Such revealing is…
Vulnerability: The willingness to be wounded because one is sharing one’s heart, or underbelly—the places that one would instinctively try to protect. This is made possible by…
Trust: The placement of one’s confidence in another, even without proof, because one gives everyone the benefit of the doubt, and only withdraws trust when it is repeatedly—or egregiously—broken. Thus, Love practices…
Forgiveness: Love sees the good in people, it remembers that we are all fallible, it knows that holding onto resentment is poison, and it knows that forgiving is the pathway to…
Freedom: Love knows the ultimate freedom is the freedom from ego—oneself, the small “I” that expects and demands everything for itself. Love is free of this selfishness because it is rooted in compassion and joy…
Compassion: Because it wants others to be free of suffering, so it is moved to service in order to relieve that suffering.
Joy: Because Love can flow freely when one is unconditionally joyful, and it knows that the most refined joy is sympathetic joy—taking delight in another’s joy.
Finally, Love goes beyond fairness to embody and convey Justice.

Of course, insight into the nature of Love doesn’t guarantee embodiment. That’s where the real work begins. Integration is what brings these qualities to life—through relationship, conflict, failure, presence, and daily choice.

This is the heart of Soul Alchemy.

Come on this journey with me—to access a deeper and higher love than you’ve known before.
Love of others. Love of self. Love of Spirit.

We have a vision to fulfill.
